We rehearse regularly with members of two pods of wild, free living dolphins. The pod of Atlantic Spotted dolphins (stenella frontalis) with whom we have worked since 2009 was discovered by Hardy Jones in the 1970s. Over 30+ years, they have been studied by scientists and befriended by explorers. The pod of Pacific Spinner dolphins (stenella longirostris) with whom we work have also been the subject of field studies since the 1980s. Without the generosity of many individual dolphins, who have danced with us and shared their curiosity and creativity, this work would not be possible. Through our films, videos and blog posts, we hope you will get to know their unique personalities and histories and come to care about them as we do.
